To allow ample time for patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment and we make every attempt to see each client on time. However, emergency cases always receive top priority, which may cause an occasional appointment delay. We request as much advance notice as possible in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment or procedure. This will allow us to offer the timeslot to another client.
Patient Arrival Policy
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all of our patients' rabies vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. To ensure the safety of you, your pet, and our other clients, all dogs must be kept on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area and all cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered and deposits before surgical admission or hospitalization. A small levy is added to all consultation fees during public holidays. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Debit cards, cash and personal cheques.
USVC recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its clients and its patients. Your privacy is also protected in our hospital. At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
